REFLECTIONS, WISE QUOTES AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT FOR TODAY

(Meditate over these words of wisdom)

1. Do you know that one child who does the Lord’s will is better than a thousand who do not?

It is better to go to your grave with no children at all than to have children who are godless (16.3). Therefore instill the fear of God in your children and the Lord will bless you.

2. Avoid being found in the midst of sinners because the Lord’s flaming anger will break out against small gathering of sinners or disobedient nations (16.6).

3. Have you ever pondered on the wisdom in God’s creation?

He made knowledge available to us and gave us the law as a source of life (17.11). What a mystery!

4. Never say or think in your heart that the Lord is not seeing you.

The Lord is always aware of what people do. There is no way to hide from him.

5. Are you not tired of sin?

Come to the Lord and leave your sin behind. Pray sincerely that he will help you live a better life. Return to the most high and turn away from sin. Have an intense hatred for wickedness (17.15 – 17.26) and you will be saved and forgiven.

CLOSING PRAYER FOR TODAY

(Recite with deep faith)
Lord Jesus I marvel at your wisdom in creation. Righteous judge help to have a deep hatred for sin and all that entices to sin. I repent of my sins and may I never be a victim of your punishment for sinners – Amen.
